The apartment MADROÑO, occupies the place of the old barn or “parreiro”, where the dry grass was stored after its harvest during the summer, to be used as food for cattle during the winter.
It has a double bed (1.35 cm), a large bathroom and a eat-in kitchen with living room and fireplace overlooking the valley of “Valledor River” and the Range of Valledor. It has a convertible sofa-bed of 1.35 cm.
The Madroño (Arbutus unedo) is a common shrub in the Valledor as a result of the special climate of the area.
Althoug it will be easy to see it in the sourroundings, you must not take more than a single one of its fleshy and palatable fruits, “madroños” or “drunks” so called as its high sugar content can cause symptoms of intoxication if intake is inadequate.
